About Us

Offering three decades of decorative artistry, Bonacci Studios is a family firm headed by a mother and son team working with a passionate and qualified crew to complete impeccable museum-quality decorative projects worldwide. Beginning as Local Color Inc, a group focusing on historic restoration in Indianapolis, we came to Aspen in 1991 to paint the murals in the Saudi Prince Bandar’s Starwood home.

Successfully satisfying discriminating clientele since 1977, the studio is home to the Bonacci crew, a fluid group of highly versatile and motivated artists. We collaborate with designers and architects from concept to completion. We design everything from simple faux finishes and patterns to outlandishly detailed ceilings in a wide range of mediums including paint, mosaic and fine art. As a production studio, our projects are mapped out in the studio, saving time and money. We arrive onsite ready to install.

Projects include countless residences, hotels, public buildings, churches, theaters and wineries throughout the US and abroad.
